All About Ubergeek TV

The enigmatic yet outgoing brainchild of Chris Hill
2002-02-05

übergeek.tv embodies the work of Chris Hill with occasional help from friends and peoples. The main thrust of the site is cartoons about geeky stuff. I'm a geek, maybe not an übergeek, but I pick my nose in public, dig programming and I'm addicted to various comics and video games (All Hail Tim Schaefer and Warren Spector!).

From time to time I'll put something else up on the site that I find cool, drawings, videos, games, and articles. I also unashamedly will embarass friends and relatives from time to time, doing my best to give them their much-deserved fame.

Some people hazard that I'm a pretty good artist considering that I'm a programmer, or that I'm a pretty good programmer considering I'm an artist. Its the same thing really, code is an art form, and art is a code form. But they are two entirely different processes, and sometimes I feel like I'm still that four year old kid shoving the square into the circle hole. It's fun.

Current Books(code geek):
Physics for Game Programmers

My Current Safari Bookshelf:
Java And XML
CSS Cookbook
Programming Jabber
Linux and Unix Shell Programming

Current Books(fun geek):
System of the World by Neal Stephenson

Current Video Games:
World Of Warcraft
DDRMAX
Animal Crossing: Wild World
Advance Wars: Dual Strike

I do my best to put something new on the site at least once a year. Animation is not my full time job(yet) so I'm unable to do anything more frequent. Toons take time to make, even flash toons.
